Travelling to India without green card on Refugee Travel Document (RTD)

I am a Bangladeshi Citizen, My asylum case got approved April 2022. I applied for Refugee Travel Document immediately. After I receive my RTD, can I apply for Indian tourist visa? Does India gives tourist vis on RTD ?(Please share experience on travelling to RTD )Would you suggest to travel to India with only RTD (No green Card)? When can I file my Green Card ? If I file for Green Card on May 2023, what is the timeline I will receive my green card ?

Hi @Rokeya Begum . I also have the same exact situation as yours. I don’t have my National passport, and about to apply for Tourist Visa to India on my RTD. Did you get answers to your question. Or, did you travel to India with your RTD yet?

A green card is not required for international travel. A green card serves as proof of permanent residency in the United States, allowing legal work and living. However, it is not necessary for travel abroad.
