I live in N. Virginia and was granted Asylum by Imm. Judge in Feb. 2001. Later I went to local INS office and they issued I-94 valid till Feb. 2002. Now I intend to visit Toronto in the last week of this August on my Refugee Tr. Document with Canadian visa stamped but don't have any valid I-94 card. I am worried if I would come across any problem at the Canada/USA borders without any I-94 card. Please advice me. I am very new to this forum and this is my first post. Please help me.

LAMBOO....

I went to Canada a while ago, i have no problem entering Canada but when i came back the US immigration officer check my RTD and I-94 a couple of times...i think u will have some problem entering US if u don't have I-94. Its safer for u to consult an attorney or go to your nearest INS office.

In my experience. RTD is the only thing you need. They will issue you a new i-94 when you enter US.
