My H1 is valid till March 18th 2003. But I no longer work for the H1 sponsoring co. My AOS is pending with the INS. Interview done on Dec. 10th 2002 still waiting for approval. There is a travel plan (business related) first week of february for 2 wks. I have to get an AP from the INS.
Will I get an AP the same day? If not how long does it take by mail?
Can I travel if I get my AP? IS IT SAFE. I have never been on Out of Status)
At the POE should I show my AP or H1B. Please confirm...
