Traveled Before AP

Thanks alot man for your replies.
I have found the rule 1 in USCIS, but through my search I haven't found the second rule. The only thing I found is "trying to return to the US with a new AP which is sent to the person who have been outside while his AP expired"

It's a simple rule: For an AP to be used for parole into the US, it must have been approved before your departure from the US.
Do you know any link pointing to this fact?
The Murthy link does not say that. It only talks about second AP and the fact that he was outside beyond the expiration of first AP.

Entring US is not the only concern. If it is against the rule it might raise some red flags later on in the AOS process.

Thanks again
