Travel before and after applying for naturalization

Hi all and Happy New Year,

Context:
I am going to be in the states for 5 years pretty soon and want to apply for the naturalization.
In these almost 5 years I have traveled 135 days so far, most of them are 7 days business trips + a few 12-14 days of vacation/year.

Questions:
1. I know i cannot be outside the country for more than 180 days continuously but is there a maximum number of days in this case as well? where
i am out of the country in short trips?
2. After applying for the naturalization can I continue traveling?

I couldn't find these specific answers anywhere that's why I thought this forum could help me.

Thank you in advance,
Tibby

Total number of days you're allowed to be out of the country in the preceding five years is about 913, so you are quite safe to travel. You just need to be there for your interview, and if you're going to travel for a longer period, someone needs to check your post for the interview letter, and later on, the oath letter.
