I have my green card. Recently applied for re-entry permit with I-131 for which I got a receipt notice from USCIS that said
"USCIS has received your form and is currently processing your application. This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCUS will run the same security checks and use your biometrics data as in the past, however it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS ASC for biometrics appointment."
Usually, once the biometrics are taken, the applicants do not need to wait in the US to receive the approval of the re-entry permit. In my case, my previous biometrics will be reused. Does that mean I can travel and don't need to wait in the US for the approval of the re-entry permit?
Thank you!
