i got laid off with a company right after my labor and i-140 are cleared. I got into a different division of the same company after couple of months in a different city and state. my h-1 was done all over again and i started working for this new division.
now do i have any option in continuing with filing for i-485 from my old branch of the company(other than keeping the priority date) with out starting all over again?
1. Job description and duties match for the old and new divisions.
2. tax ids are different for those divisions
