TN Visa Application List (-Company's Financial Statement)

My TN visa application list has a document, Company's Annual Report or Financial Statement. My question is: do I really need this document for the TN visa application? My employer said they were private company. They didn't have the Annual Report. What could be the substitute for the Annual Report or Financial Statement?

Thank you@nelsona. The list was prepared by previous employer's immigration attorney. I had 2 previous TN visa applications both prepared by the employer's attorney. One had Financial Statement listed, the other didn't.
 
So, if you don't have one....
The presumed purpose is to "prove" that your sponsor is in a financial position to actually pay you, I wouldn't worry about it.
