I just want to share my I-129 renewal timeline. Maybe helpful!

My TN is getting expired on April 2009

I sent my I-129 TN renewal for three year extension on Feb 15th 2009 with 2-3 months process time in a mind.

USCIS received it on 18th Feb 2009 and approved on 5th March 2009.

This is without premium processing.
:D

Wow. That is extremely quick. It would appear that they mistakenly premiumed it.

Since you probabaly didn't care if it took 6 months to approve, it's too bad you couldn't bottle this 'express' service for a time when you will really need it!

This just is awesome..

USCIS received my application on 19th Feb.. and I got approval notification via email today on 11th Feb - within 3 weeks - normal processing..

I also would like to share my experience with my extension
I submitted it on February 25th and it was approved on March 12!
I got my I-94 hard copy today by mail March 20.

So the moral of the story is don't waste money on Premium processing TNs right now.

After April 1st is probably a different story.

Nice--I have my fingers crossed that I'll have a quick processing time (and I want to go to a wedding in Canada in mid-July...)

Well, if your TN isn't approved by then, you'll simply get new TN at the border. No big deal.

April 1 is when the H1's get submitted for approval. Other programs usually grind to a halt when these avalanche comes in.

Hi, where do you send the TN applications to? How long does it take to get an answer?

I have the following in my package:
1. Resume
2. Job Offer Letter
3. 2 References Letter
4. University Diploma
5. Transcripts

Is there anything I am missing?

Thank you!
