TN or H1B-->GC route for Indian born

Hello,
Wanted your inputs on applying for GC through TN or H1B route?

Company willing to go TN->H1B->GC route and waiting for TN letter.Have MS degree from US.

I already have F4 / Montreal Case number in the family category filed in July 2007.
 
There is no question that you can apply for GC while on TN. Go ahead wit this, and if you also, later get H1 all the better. Do not wait for H1 approval to begin the GC process.
 
If i file GC based on my current TN permit what are the outcomes when I go for my TN renewal.

Please explain as TN has non immigrant intent.

In case we can avoid the H1B route altogether.
