TN leaving country b4 expiration date

If I leave US for good b4 the expiration date of TN am I supposed to cancel the TN or in someway let US goverment know that I left the country?

You are to leave your I-94 with the Cdn border/customs agent as you cross the border. They will transmit to USCBP.
