I have a TN-1 visa for a company dealing with boats, the owner of that company moved me to another of his companies that deals with cars, the job is the same, even my desk is the same. The 2 companies are completly seperate legally. I was switched to the other company 2 months ago and I did not do a new TN, things have been really crazy. Now my visa expires in June, I called the INS and they were not able to tell me how I should proceed with my visa, either getting a new one or filing for a change. My boss wants to make sure we stay legal and would like the offer letter to reflect the start date of 2 months ago. Please help with advise on the best way to get my visa in order. Thanks in advance
