TIme duration after passport is stamped?

till the medicals expire..eg we did our medicals in sept 2007, got request for PP in jan and got the PP with the stamp valid upto sept 2008

Normally it is one yera time after medicals as medicals expires after one year. But there are cases with expired medicals and waiting for further directions from the CHC.
