Tax paying for TN Visa

I worked for an american enterprise headquartered in Nevada for many years and I was located in client-side in Mexico. I was paid in Mexican currency.

The company got a client in Florida and my company sponsored me a TN Visa to come to work for the client. I worked four months there.

Those 4 months, I was under 1099 but I was being paid in my accounts in my original country (Mexico), and in Mexican currency (but I was working in US, and my company was in US also).

Now, I wanted to know what happened with the Taxes, I didn't paid any US taxes and I wanted to know if that would affect my TN Status today (I switched the company but I am still under TN Visa, now for W2)

I know that for the Taxes part, I should get an accountant, but will that compromise my TN Visa status today?

Thanks a lot!

Your tax compliance (or non-compliance) does not affect validity or renewal of TN.
