I talked to an officer(NSC) on Friday, to confirm my change of address. He said they have the new address. And I asked about the status of my case(485). He said that they are processing Sep 00 cases and my case may take around two months. I got the line after 10 minutes and waited 20 minutes to get the officer.

if you study the visa number from Aug 2000 - Nov 2000 carefully, you will find much fewer I-485 applicants in oct, nov than sept 2000.
