Guys: I got another touch day before yesterday - 5/17/04
Last time when INS touched my file was 05/07

I wonder whats going on ;)

Are they really working on March'02 cases? I am excited, but I dont know if they are just scanning my record or really working on my file.

Anybody had any past experience , pls share with the group. Frequent touches mean anything?

My case was touched again today. I hate to burst ur bubble though... 'Touches' are like getting a lap dance... its a total tease... they can touch you all they want. Don't be fooled. It may seem like the best thing in the world at the moment, but in the big scheme of things, it doesn't mean much. Please don't become a victim of premature celebration.
 
enjoy the touches :D :D ...they feel better than lap dances right now...

This is really the best comment I have seen for days...It seems like it is really lap dance and nothing more than that :)

It is like a lap dance - except that the service provider is a 350 pound momma with bad breath. And when they touch your case, it only feels good for the moment because thats when they let you come back up for air before shoving your head back into the toilet.

My case got "touched" back on May 4th, a few weeks after I responded to an RFE. My guess is that is when the CIS decided they wern't going to have any more time for I-485's in this century, and sent pending cases to Yucca mountain, to be buried along with radioactive waste, and reopened when it becomes safe.

Congratulations!! You manage to crash the resin server. Usually,
a log is made in the server. They will check who did this. Dunno what
they might do after that. ;)

Just a NullPE.....nothing to reference to..maybe your case has already been sent to Yucca mtn..(no offence)...or maybe there r no lap dancers..But as u said....sweet punch...
 
So I also tried to check status of my case. Has been frustrating. Sent them
a fax inquiry 3 weeks back. Status was last updated on 1/23/2004 when I
did my last fingerprint. Nothing after that. Nothing at all.

Then around 3pm today I check this and I get the same thing as gopher97

And then after few minutes it got fixed and viola my case was touched today.

So maybe this happens if they are updating your case.

It feels so good when your case it touched. Although I know it means
nothing at all. Some bloke probably got my fax, looked at my case and
threw it away thinking that I am stupid. But he, my touch date changed.
As long as something is happenning I am happy. :)

Thats a good indication that somebody is touching you. God - I may need just another touch !!! Come on ..touch me...its FREE!!!
 
May be I am asking for too much. But people who are getting approved recently, can you please post your touch experience? How approval and RFE related to last touch date?If it gets touched couple of times in a week with no RFE, what does it mean(2nd FP done )?

It may not mean anything - but I have a gut feeling it means something.
140- I dont have 6th sense DVD or VHS though :p
 
I want to post a question : could anyone out there provide some sample recommendation letters for me? I am so desparate right now.
