Still get biometrics notice from NSC in these days?

Hello,

Are there any people still getting Biometrics notice from NSC aftter Oct. Visa bulletin out on Sept. 13th? I filed my I-485 early August (8/2/03) and still no biometics notice yet. My category is NIW and got approved in June.

Do you guys know whether NSC will send out Biometrics notice during retrogression?

Can I apply for (not renew) my first EAD during retrogressipon. I understand we can renew. But how about the first application?

Not sure about new biometrics notices.

But you can definitely apply for first EAD/AP (or renewals) when your PD is retrogressed.
You only need a pending 485 for that.

The thing you can't do when PD is not current is to file a new 485. If your 485 is already filed, you can get benefits like EAD and AP - no issues.
