Stamping experiences please!!

Hi,

My 485 is approved (RD 01/05/01, ND 01/12/01, AD 01/25/01 No RFEs).

Could somebody post some stamping experiences. Do we have to go to the same place in Newark as we did FP? Or is there a different office? What do they check?
My passport has got 6.5 months validity (Its F, so I have to apply a new one after stamping). Is that OK.

Went to stamping in Arlington, VA today

They made us wait out in the freakin\' cold until 7:30, and it was dog slow even after that (lots of clueless people). Got out by noon. No questions asked. Hopefully you\'ll get your card within the 6.5 months so you don\'t have to go back. If you don\'t get the card until your pp expires you\'ll have to go back with the new passport I think.
