Thought I would share what I found out about my RFE case. My lawyer called VSC to find out about the progress on my RFE response... sort of a nudge, if temporarily forgotten. Details: EB1, RD 08/03, RFE 09/17, RFE received by VSC 10/17. RFE was for employment info: letter from employer, tax return/W2, pay stubs.

Found out that the case was with an officer and some action should be taken within the next 7-10 days. If there is any credibility to this... its encouraging for us months-long RFE sufferers. Nothing like some HOPE to get you through this immigration process!!!

RFE received by INS 10/10......

Dec 10th will be the end of 14-60 days time frame that was mentioned on the RFE notice.......

Also, I had the same RFE like yours (letter,stubs and w2)

RFE response received OCT 10......... again the waiting SAGA starts. Now I feel let them deport me...may be with that I can shake INS or now DHS a little more hard

why do you think they will deport you?
Have been involved in illegal activities?
Have you taken bribe by some immigrant?
Do you have forged documents?
If the answer is none of the above, then donot worry.
