Spoke to a polite IIO (first time caller) who said the case has not been assigned to an officer and is pending adjudication. She also said the files are going \'back\' for adjudication. When I said I was a little confused about the \'back\' keyword there, she said the case is moving, waiting to be assigned to an officer subsequent to receipt of FP results (which happened on Jan 31, 2002). I guess that is the terminology they use.

Need help! JIM/GURUS...strange situation.

My spouse\'s Labor Certification has been approved. Before she files for I-140 she will be laid off by her employer (approx July 1, 02). Her employer has suggested that she could be transferred to company B. Company B is a business assoiate of company A. Can she file her I-140 from Company B without re-starting the entire process OR does she have to start the entire process agin with Company B?
