He asked me my mailing date first. Then last and first name, my address and date of birth. Then he gave me my EAC number.

I485 Receipt!!!

We applied (me & my wife) for AOS on Sep 13th INS Vermont Ct received the documents on Sep 14th. INS cashed the check on November 19th, 01. As of today we did not receive the receipt. I know it is little early but can someone tell me after how long INS take to send the receipt once they cashed the check. Secondly, lets say we get the receipt next week. How long it will take for us to get the finger print notice. Remember we applied in Sep 2001. Thanks for the help rather honest advise.
 
maybe 3 months now?

My MD is sept 6th. still no receipt. because of the holidays, i doubt I\'ll get a receipt before dec 6th.
And I know many people are still waiting with MDs in August!!!

I just heard the message from AVM saying EAD card is ordered on Dec 5 th. AVM says it takes 60-90 days to get the card. I don\'t think it will take so long to get the card. Is anybody on the same boat?
