That case showed how much the government can find when they're ready to dig up information ... even finding about his overseas children and his claim to being a US citizen on the loan application in 2006.

However, it's possible that the mortgage broker or whoever initially processed the loan had selected "US citizen" on the form without his knowledge. Before the housing market meltdown, many people in the mortgage/banking industry were secretly altering the applicant's documents in order to increase the chances of the loans being approved.

And it's also possible that the kids aren't his, and his ex-wife listed him as the father without his knowledge or consent. But if the children aren't his, that's easy enough to prove.

I guess we just have to wait for this to run its course through the court system and let the facts come out.
