Hi,
Any updates for people who sent RFE replies around May 1st week.

Info:

EB2 India
PD: 10/99
RD: 01/01
FP: 03/01
RFE: 04/20/01
RFE received by INS as per UPS: 05/11/01

No change in AVM. Still says RFE sent on sos and so date.

AVM still says "Rfe issue on.."

AVM still says RFE issued on May 3rd.

I replied to RFE on 4/18. AVM got updated only on June 12. So looks like yours should be updated in a week or so....

Replied to RFE on 4/23, AVM updated on 6/4 saying they received the RFE reply on 6/4.

The above seem to be all in same boat. Its possible that I485 cases will get delayed due to deluge of applications from July.

I guess we will just make it before the big rush starts. remember 1-2 years back 485 cases were taking 2-3 years.

Same boat here. RFE (for new photos) replied on 1st week of May and AVM not updated yet. Tired of listening to the same old message.

IS the delay because of mailroom situation earlier, I believe a new set of contractors working on them now, hope for the best.
Can anyone reliably clarify isn;t RFE issued while the file is already with an Adj officer who has had a look at the file and feels he just needs some additional info to adjudicate the case ? in that case why should the mailroom-AVM situation cause any delays or even matter ?
I am in the same situation RFE replied (05/28/01, W2,paystubs,emplymt letter) no msg update yet and waiting.

                    Received RFE 2/2/2001, sent response to RFE 2/10/2001
                    Approved - 6/12/01
Ciba please update my approval. I will go for stamping on Monday (2/18/01) in LA.

Just Checked AVM.
Mine and my wife\'s case has been approved on June13th.
Here are the details:
EB3,India,CSC, PD 07/98, ND 08/99, FPs done twice, EAD and AP renewed once.
RFE replied on Mar 5th.
Finally the wait is over on June 13th.
I will be around to answer any questions..

Hi Guys,

At last I heard those magic words \' This case has been approved...\' last night. How ever my wife\'s case is still not approved. Has anyone experienced this? CIBA, many many thanks to you for maintaining the list even after getting your approval and card.

RFE on 1/17/01 for medical, quarterly wage report(DE6) and corporate IT returns
RFE reply sent 2/2/01 and INS did not receive it.
RFE reply sent again 4/11/01

AD 6/13/01 as AVM waiting for approval notice.

My AVM message got updated. It\'s saying that my response to the RFE (I-140) was received on June 20th. That\'s about it.

AVM message updated! It says they received my RFE on June 19th. INS is moving on RFE cases, hand in there. Let\'s keep everyone posted. Thanks.

AVM message updated. Sent RFE on May 9th today it says received on June 20th it will take 975 to 999 days to process also it says since my case was already looked in to the process days will be 999 days. Very funny

KingA, mthassim, what were your RFE\'s for?

Mine was for amended I-140.

All three of us are in almost exactly the same situation.

Neo, my RFE was for new photos. The ones I sent had the image too small. I was so upset with the place who did my first pictures but, oh well... now INS has my new photos. My message also says something about this case passed preliminary review and it will take 999 days and a written decision will be sent. I don\'t know what all this means, I just hope I\'m close to the final approval. I was so happy to hear AVM updated last night. One step at a time... Please let me know when you hear anything. Thanks.
