RFE from NSC

Called IIO last friday.
Said that RFE has been marked in the record.
And also told that the RFE will be sent out only after 2 weeks.
I did not ask why but regret about that now.(I am wondering whether NSC is closing for audit)
What kind of RFEs are possible?
1) Birth certificate
2) Marriage certificate
3) Medical
4) Employment data
Has anyone received RFE from NSC lately?
Appreciate the answers. Thanks

I got my AP and EAD renwed recently

AP: I already recd the approvals
    AD: 08/31/01
    RD: 05/14/01
    ND: 07/13/01

EAD: approved according to AVM. Still haven\'t recd anything.
     AD: 09/06/01
     Same RD & ND as AP

Aug 15th & 23rd are the RD & ND dates
 
RFE for various reasons

You could get an RFE if the INS does not like the pictures you sent with your application for your Green Card.
 
Ques about RFE

Could you tell me what the RFE was finally about??? Did ure lawyer get it and how long did it take to get the info to your lawyer tahnx for the info in advance.....
 
RFE-Not yet received

The message changed on 19th Sep. I have not yet received the RFE.And I do not know what the RFE is about.
 
What is your AVM says ?

Also, did you check with your lawyer whether he has received it or not? In my case, the lawyer received the RFE and he called me. Also my AVM was updated within two days of sending the RFE.

RFE for validity of status

Lawyer called today and informed that the RFE is for the validity of stutus. The lawyer is going to send the relevant papers.

My wife called the IIO and the IIO said that RFE has been marked in the file. And when I enquired about my case, he ssaid the same.
AVM changed only for me and not for my wife.
Now the lawyer has received RFE only for me.
I am the person who is applying for 485 and my wife is dependent.
Will my wife\'s case also be marked for my RFE?

IIO said thar rfe has been marked in both our files.
Bur AVM changed only for me and received only for me.

What papers do you need to send for this kind of RFE? Please share the information with us after talking to your lawyer.

AVM changed after 4 days

Called IIO on 14th Sep. IIO said that there is an RFE.
AVM changed on 19th
Attorney sent the response on Oct 2nd.
AVM now says that the response is recd on Oct 3rd and it would take 390 more days(?!) since the preliminary part is over.
Has anyone got approval lately after sending RFE response?
