I had been in USA for 3 years and 2 months on L1B visa
My visa expired on Aug 2012 but I left USA on Jan 2013 since my I94 was valid till 2014.
I want to apply for a fresh H1B visa in 2013.
If my visa is filed in April 2013 but I travel after Jan 2013 (i.e. after 1 year of leaving USA) will it reset the time spent in USA and allow me to stay for another 6 years ?
Will be grateful for any pointers.
