Replacing I140 on concurrent case

Does anybody here have experience with the followin scenario.

Filed I40/I485 concurrently for job A. (NIW), everything still pending.

Now job B comes around and company has opportunity to file I140 without certain restrictions that come along with NIW.

Is it possible to file a second I140, and sort of 'switch' the pending I485 to that second I140 ?

If yes, how ?
 
Not quite

This all deals with replacing an already approved I140 with another approved I140.

I am talking about a concurrent case were the I140 has not been adjudicated yet. Also the new I140 would of course still be pending.
 
is this possible?

This situation may not be allowed by USCIS ( just to keep their workload down.). I am also considering another I140 and switch existing I485 to it, if at all it is possible.
