Folks,

Is it possible to get H1-B renewal after 6 years if labor and I-40 are approved? I mean 7th year H1-B renewals are granted only to people pending labor for more than a year. If the labor is approved, is the rule still valid?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, rak1974.
Do you know if the H1-B visa needs to be stamped to be valid? I mean if I enter using AP, I have valid H1-B extension, but there's no H1 visa stamp. Is the H1 visa still valid?

yes you are qualified. Infact you can request 3 year H1B extension.

Hi, H1B is valid regardless of visa stamp since visa is for travel and H1B approval is for work authorization. I entered using AP when I traveled to India but am still working on H1B. I think H1B is still valid given the fact that H1B is dual intent visa but I am not 100% sure.
