Is it possible to have your I-485 rejected even if you have your EAD approved already?

Does having an EAD mean that your I-485 is guaranteed to be approved and it\'s just a matter of waiting?

Once you have filed 485, your are eligible to get EAD.
That\'s it.
The EAD has nothing to do with 485 approval.
