Re-entry for parents with GC

My parents have a green card since 1998. They have been visiting once a year for about 4-5 months since 1998 until 2002.

They have been out of the country since March 2002. Is there a way we can bring them back to US without any problems. My father has been a heart bypass patient and has been taking treatment overseas. He has all the medical papers.

Appreciate if someone could advise of a most reasonable way to bring them back to US.
