Question regarding job change after 180 days!!

I may lose my job shortly. But my employer is wiling to waiting for 180 days to be completed before letting me go.
Questions:
1.Do I need to find another employer with similar job description within the same state?
2.What paper work is required in terms of letting INS know regarding my possible job change?

The following are my details:
RD 10/2/02
ND 11/21/02
FP 02/01/02

Your next employer need not be from the same state. You don\'t have to notify INS regarding your job change. As long as INS doesn\'t issue an RFE in your case, you\'re fine. If it does, then you should have the offer letter from the new employer but just make sure that your job responsibilities are the same as described in your LC.

Thank you so much for taking the time answer. Do you happen to know what general geographical location restrictions are applicable with regard to job change after 180 days?
