Does everybody have to go for passport stamping ?

The reason is, I have a 5 year old son and am not sure whether i need to take him with me.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Yes, everybody

I took my 7-yr old for stamping; Her fingerprint was taken and she was asked to print her name in the I-90 form. I suggest you take your son along (and something to munch for him, in case he gets restlessness due to the wait). Good luck.

This is not legal advice.

I dont think so

Hi

Guys

I do not think you need to take your kid for stamping. They do not take fingure prints for kids under 12.My son got his GC without stamping and he is 7 years old. We both got our stamping done on last friday and I confirmed it with one of the IIO see said kids under 12 or 13 are not required to be fingure printed.

No Stamping needed for 5 year olds

Check out the courtesy notices you received. For the parents INS sends courtesy notices, but for minors they send welcome notices. That is proof enough that they dont need stamping
