Proof of Funds from India!

I have some money in india.. what letter should I get from the bank Indicating that I have the funds available.. and will the CIC accept that at the time of landing. This is just a little extra money that I want to show.

Please advise.

i am in a similar situation. i guess, if we have say $5000 CAD equivalent in TC's and bank drafts and the rest in the form of bank statements, we should be fine. you need to get a letter from the bank stating your current balances and previous monthly statements of your accounts. that should suffice, i suppose. let us know if its any different, thanks.
