Processing GC!!!

I have a friend for whom I am posting this message.
My friend is on F1 and filed for H1 with a new company. The new company has offices in India and USA and they are ready to sponsor his GC.
The questions is can he get his GC sponsored under L1 or is it benficial to file with H1. I am adivising him to go for CP as it is fast. Does anybody sponsored GC under L1 with CP. Please advise.

CP: Think twice...

CP is no longer fast. AOS has many more advantages (especially in this economy).
