Priority date or receipt Date

I don't have labor - self petition @ Nebraska

I-140 filing - EB2-NIW - 04/04/2007 - Approved 08/06/2008 :)

I-485 filed on 07/24/2007 - Pending.

Once they get to my 485 based on the filing date (currently processing past my filing date), do they approve it?

Or they just put in shelf until priority date becomes April 2007?

So, the question is First in First out no matter what your priority date is or
no matter how early you file your 485, priority date has to be current for 485 to be approved.

For example. IF
Banerjee's priority date is april 2007 and 485 filed in July 2007; Chatterjee's priority date is June 2006 and 485 in December 2007;

who gets 485 approved first, Banerjee or Chatterjee?

:confused:

If the PD is current, then yes.

You only get shelved if your priority date is no longer current.

Banerjee's priority date is april 2007 and 485 filed in July 2007; Chatterjee's priority date is June 2006 and 485 in December 2007; who gets 485 approved first, Banerjee or Chatterjee?

Assuming both priority dates are current, then generally B is likely to be approved before C.
