It was far quicker and smoother than expected. Got there around 8.45am and left around 9.45am. In-the-door to out-the-door took less than an hour. My approval notice assigned the Downtown LA office for stamping but after listening to others on Ciba\'s board I took the Santa Ana option. Highly recommended as you don\'t have to wait through the early morning hours. It was a very pleasant experience. The INS officers were extremely polite and both offered congratulations on my being a new Green Card holder.
My advice: Go to Santa Ana! Address: 34, Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. Cross streets: Civic Center Drive and Flower street.
First, you need to go to the 3th floor to see the first official who gives you a numbered ticket which you take to the 5th floor waiting area and wait for your number to be called.
