I am an F1 student and currently I am exceeding my 60 days grace period, I am already a week over my grace period. Is this a really bad violation that I'm gonna get blacklisted from the US if I try to re-enter? What are the chance of me re-applying for school and entering US again? My school counselor suggested me to leave for Canada or Mexico, re-apply and re-enter US from there. Is this the best option? FYI, my F1 visa is still valid until January 5 2007.
