Today AVM Msg changed to Card ordered on June 9 (Sunday?)

Hi fib, mikhail, ew, samku and others........
I AM VERY HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TO INFORM THAT I GOT MY PHYSICAL GREEN CARD TODAY!!!
I had my GC interview and stamping on May 24th and got it just within 2&1/2 weeks. I am really relieved.................
But the problem is, my wife did not get it yet. I just want to know that - will it happen that one recieves the card one day and the other on the other day?

It\'s been six weeks since PP and

still no sign of card for me, although wife and sons got it pretty quick. PP at arlington. Looks like there is no defenite order, as usual ...
 
Is Change of address possible after the stamping is done??

I got the stamping done on 5/7 but now i have to move to anther state. I had given my current address at the time of stamping. Can I and if so How do I change my address with the INS so that the card comes to my new address? Is it possible?
AVM still says \'Case approved\'

friends who got approved & stamped at a later
time (also in Boston) has recv\'ed card, we haven\'t.
anyone else who got stamped at around March, April 02
still waiting for the physical green card? when can we
bring this to a closure, sigh!...
 
Looks like Plastic Card does not come as quick as we thought it would

I wouldn\'t say most people receive their cards in less than a month. For me it\'s been 5 weeks and still waiting.

I got my passport stamped today . Albany,NY.
INS person said it will take 3 to 6 months for plastic card to arrive.

Is it really this long???
 
Samku approved!!

Interviwed on 5/20 at Newark. Approval was pending. Found out yesterday that I am approved and the card was ordered on Tue 6/4/02.

welcome notice also. It was generated on 6/4.
Infact if you want to find out the status of your card, call up VSC @ 802 number.
 
Card for people who had PP stamped at Newark

I saw many posts where people received their cards within a month or even 20 days. Now it has been just over a month since my PP stamping at Newark. AVM is still not saying card ordered. Wonder how Newark INS works.

PP stamped at Albany 5/24.
Message on AVM card ordered 6/12, the message also saying that it takes 365-540 days to process. Do you guys think it really takes so much time ?

In my spouse\'s case, although AVM say it will take 365-540 days....
We get it in 4 days from card ordered...
You should get it very soon....
