9) Lost job : 1981
10) Got RFE for BC, employment letter, W2 and tax returns : 1985
11) approved : 1990
12) Derivative not yet approved 1990
13) derivative approved : 2001
14) applied for citizenship : 2002

Just another reason... he never like the name INS hence its BCIS... he changed his mind.

After 40 years of US asylum finally he thought to become CITIZEN so after retiring next year he can enjoy benefit... The 64-year-old anchor of ABC's :eek:
