Many years ago, when my political asylum application was denied, I was placed in immigration proceedings but I was never deported because I have requested voluntary departure in lieu of deportation which was approved by immigration judge. I have later re-entered legally.
I have a copy of the order by immigration judge and re-entry stamp in the passport but order is not looking like typical USCIS forms do, it is just a plain form with details hand filled out and signed by judge. Is this good enough to prove what happened and that I was never deported?
