Guys My consulate is New Delhi.

Been a bit crazy at work today so I\'m not going to call, but tomorrow I will call the operator and update you guys on my case info!!

I called NVC today....review not complete yet.
As usual...6-8 weeks timeframe for case to send to Delhi.
P3 reached NVC(NH) from St. Louis on 2/12.

of-169 is just instructions for candidate. You need to send the following :
1) fee (260$ per person)
2) DS-230 Part I
3) bar coded cover letter from NVC.

   Be careful filling Item 20. Dont leave any gaps in the years of residence.

Could the gentlemen who got their review done post the details
of their categories i.e. EB1/EB3 and when did they sent their cases
to NVC.
 
Does US consulate oversea still accepts attorney certified I-140? Does the new procedure INS specif

Waiting for H4 visa and going ahead with Green Card for Spouse

I am waiting for the chennai consulate to issue H4 visa for my spouse due to some additional administrative processing by the consulate. I want to know if I can go ahead and file her papers in the P3 for Green card processing or should I wait till she gets the H4 visa first. Will the Green card processing effect the H4 visa issuance.

If someone can help ...

The case numbers that are created by NVC have the format of XXX-YYYY-ZZZZZZ. The XXX are for the consulate, the YYYY are for the year. How does one interpret the ZZZZZZZ ???

If someone can help. Do these numbers have any bearing on the processing at NVC?

NVC found some issues with DS-230 Part-I. RFE requested.
Not received the P3 from them yet.

small advice be very very careful while filling DS 230 PI.
I started filling up ds 230 from the day my I 140 got approved, started finding mistakes by myself. I found like 5 silly mistakes. I had 3 DS230s to fill up( daughter, wife and myself). Then Attorney found some mistakes. Finally it was ready and waiting for P3 to arrive. I had some problems with dates also(item # 20), same as roundthecorner. I checked up with my attorney he said, not leave any gaps from birth..

Hope this will help some guys who are waiting for P3!!
 
When NVC receives I-140 approval

When NVC receives I-140 approval then whether I will be able to check my status through their automated system?

I called two days back & they have not received yet. I-140 got approved on 2/27, TSC & we got approval in 4 days.

I was wondering how people were receiving RFE\'s on a single peice of paper. Please could you tell what mistakes you were finding ( silly or otherwise. Also was the DS230\'s that were mailed to stlouis hand written or typed up?

I want to use an Indian Address

Dodda, Please let us know how you change of address for P4 with the Madras Consulate goes.. I am sure many of us want to do the same.

Also, What are the contents of P4? Can we download the forms from the web and fill them up and take them with us?
