OPT Stem Extension Info

Hello All,

I graduated from school with F1 visa in December 2012 from Drexel. My Opt started on 02/09/2012 and I started my job on 14th May 2012. It means I have 95 days of unemployment on my opt. Now I am planning to apply for stem extension... kind of tensed because I feel I may be rejected because of this reason. Please advise me what to do in this situation.

Hi Saimani,

Whats your status right now? Did you get the STEM extension? I thought you're supposed to apply for extension BEFORE the OPT expires, hopefully that is not the case.
