I came to USA with a visit visa. Once in US, I applied for AOS (485), my husband is a US citizen (Military personnel). My problem is my visa will expire soon. Do I need to apply for I-539 (extension of visa)? It does not make sense since I am applying to go from non-immigrant to immigrant. Please help...

Thanks,
Momina

No, you don't need to apply for visa extension. You are in "Stay authorized by Attorney General" or in AOS. If you want to go out of country you need I-131 (Advanced Parole) approved in your hand.
