Odd Question

I will be applying for the French Foreign Legion this winter, if I'm rejected I will be looking for a quick way to score Canadian citizenship so that I'm able to apply for the Royal Marines.

Could I possibly try and marry a Canadian woman who was looking for easy US citizenship? In that case, would we both be granted dual citizenship? I realize this is an quite an odd question, also probably not exactly legal or ethical.... but I would much appreciate any serious replies.
