I just wanted to understand the rules for OCI card holders residing in India.
My wife who is OCI card holder and have been residing permanently in India since 2013 and files IT returns every year.
I am aware of the rule that OCI card holders, while they are non-resident, cannot buy agricultural land/Farm house.
However, what is the rule for OCI card holders residing in India for more than 182 days. Are they eligible to buy agricultural land? She will complete 8 yrs in August 2021.
Please let me know.
