Number of I-485 applications having DEC 2000 and JAN 2001 ND

I remember the priority date for EB2 moved from Jan1, 2000 to April 1, 2000 in the month of FEB 2001. Therefore it seems to me that lot of EB2 people will have Feb 2001 as NDs and there won\'t be as many having DEC2000 and JAN 2001 NDs.

Any thoughts.
 
I think so too...

I think there are not that many applications filed in december/january 2001. Hopefully they should complete processing dec/jan cases by either mid or end of october, 2000.

I understand your logic. But immitracker does not reflect
that. Actually a good number of Dec/Jan ND are filed much
earlier (as in my case.) INS didn\'t get time to open them
and make notification.

During Oct2000 and Nov2000 , VSC processed 140 applications very fast.
I got mine approved in Nov 2000. My PD is March 98, so i did not have
to wait for date becoming current. This is mostly the case with lot of people who applied in Regular labour proceess (NOT RIR ). Also see
the immitracker.com , Nov 2000 to Jan2001 have lot of entries.
So it looks like there could be lot of applications during this time.
