They didn't reach 50k, but KCC and the embassies certainly did a great job.

I think they issued less in the spectacular mess-up of DV2012, but this is definitely a low number historically.

To be clear, there were lots of people caught out by the new document procedure. As a reaction, KCC are doing somethings differently in DV2020

Report from VO for 2019 was released. It contains the final number for DV19 (AOS + CP): 45,889. That means 1007 people obtained DV green card via AOS.
