Hi ,
I got transfered to U.S on H1-b visa while i was working in Canada.
It is now more than 3 1/2 years since i got my landing immigration papers.
My question is when I apply for my citizenship will they object that I have h1-b on my passport. I still live in Canada, but due to the nature of my job i hardly get to spend time back home.
Another question is what should i do with the taxes how should i file it ? i am paying full taxes in U.S do i need to pay taxes in canada too ? Isnt' there some sort of treaty between two countries.
Another important thing is, Nortel is a canadian company, the stay in u.s while working for Nortel should be counted towards my immigration process right ?
thanks
