Hello fellow victims,
I am in the middle of my 3rd year of a J1 waiver commitment in Michigan. I am employed by a local hospital in its FQHC clinic. Needless to say the are fully aware of my weakness and are taking full advantage of it. I have a pending labour certification which is still at the state level,so sort of looking forward to PERM.
In the interim a retiring Internist offered me the opportunity to take over his practice as a going concern. I had planned to do a NIW and continue there after my commitment is done. Alas the Michigan Dept of Comm Health is reluctant to do the required letter unless I am employed. Any Ideas on how to proceed or if anything can be done. One friend advised me to incorporate with a citizen friend and then become an employee of that company. I am not even sure how to begin on that.
My wife(non medical field) also has a pending labour certification through her employer which is nearing clearing.
I would appreciate any thoughts of wisdom on how to approach this.
