I think it would be a good idea to start a new thread for EB3 labor substitution cases. It will give us a good idea whether these cases are taking any longer than the normal I140.

I-140 approved

My I-140 got approved yesterday 5th August, 2003.
I-140 filed on 30th June, 2003.

That is Good News !! Congrats . Did u do something different. There are lot of people before ur receipt date too. If YES pls let us know. Also INS says they are processing 4/18 right now. I dont understand

When i check my status on the phone it says 'There has been an issue with the case....' on the web it shows that 'The receipt has been sent etc/' I know this happened to a few people and we ignored it thinking that the AVM is wrong. Did u also get the same message before ur approval and Guys are we safe to ignore this message.
 
I could not believe the news myself and called the attorney to confirm it once again.
The only thing i can say is that I gave in every bit of documentation even though it may have been minor.
Also my LC sub was an exact match ( when I say exact i mean an exact match)

I am sure you that you are filed in EB3 category. Can you please confirm this because as of Aug 1, 2003 report from BCIS, california for I140E (Eb3) category is showing March 14, 2003. The date moved back from 04/18/03 to 03/14/03. Is it because of some error?

Still immigration.com showing date as 3/14/03 , it sucks . First it moved from april to march and now stuck in march.
 
Hi,

Could someone tell me what is a Notice date (ND) for a I-140 petition.

I only received a receipt date from my lawyer, which I assume is the date when CSC received the application.

i dont know the difference but in my case both are same. also request ur lawyer to send u a copy of the receipt notice. there u will have the notice date.
