I got reply from CSC yesterday
"I'll order the file and complete the final adjudication. Please allow
2-3 weeks for this process. Thank you. "

NOt sure why 140 LUD changed again...anyone has same experience before 485 approval?

Waiting. but check your LUD date

After i got this email, in about one day, i found my I140 and I485 LUD got updated...then got LUD 3 times 3/23, 3/24, 3/37...but message did not change....then i got an email from MR. R. Cruz on 3/27 indicated my case was approved...good luck

I have one question and hope you can answer.

How did u find out your name check was completed ? I have asked this
to many others but never got a clear reply. Please let us know ?


I am stuck in name check now.
 
For both - me and my wife, we got name check cleared.

For your question ----- how do we come to know abt name check cleared.....

Answer : we used to send mails to CSC-XII.484 , to ask our i -485 status, every time they said its in name check, but when it got cleared , tehy said your name check is cleared and now wait for some time to adjudication or blah blah......

they never sent a mail by themselves informing the clearence of name check. Its better to send mails to them and ask about status.

like for my wife.... her name check got cleared in november, but they didn't send any mail. when i sent mail in feb. then they replied that it has alreday been cleared in Nov.

I hope this info would help you.

"Your case cannot resume processing at this time because according to
the
Dept. of State's visa bulletin for April 2006, 2nd Preference India's
cut-off date is 07/01/2002 or earlier. Accordingly, the priority date
in this case is 02/06/2003. Therefore, a visa is not currently
available to you. We will continue to monitor the visa bulletin on a
monthly basis and will complete the adjudication of your case when a
visa becomes available. Thank you."

Can this reponse be interpreted as completion of name check/ background check?

I sent the email on March 15th 2006.

Did you guys send one too?
If so, I presume you have'nt heard from them yet.

I have heard that it takes anywhere between 3-6 weeks to get a response.

Hi Navdod,

My date becomes current on March 2006.And my PD is Oct 2001.I sent an email to USCIS on March 17 2006.Still i didnt get any reply.I think that u sent that email on March 15 2006,u got reply on April 3rd maybe i will get??

What is a trun-around time these days for e-mail inquiry ?

It's been 2 weeks since I made an e-mail enquiry.
How long does it take to get a reply these days?
 
hi, ya i got approval mail today.
Even i did not get any LUD after 1st April.
Don't worry , you are going to get the approval mail soon.
My PD is sep.2001 and ur PD is oct.2001,,,,,, i am sure u r gonna receive a mail from USCIS soon.... :)
